Water circulation pump/Media pump (MPx)

The MP150 electric water pump is used for cooling and/or conditioning the battery, e-machine and power electronics, and as a way of providing auxiliary cooling in vehicles with an internal combustion engine. It operates according to an innovative cooling concept with a high power density. Two major areas of application can be defined overall:

• Hybrid or e-vehicles: By using the pump (150W), the coolant flow in the e-vehicle can be managed more flexibly and efficiently. It ensures an optimal battery temperature and increases its lifetime and efficiency.  
• Internal combustion or hybrid vehicles: The MP150’s functions include controlling the temperature of the charge air or other on-demand systems. As a result, both emissions and fuel consumption can be significantly reduced and exhaust emission standards can be met.
