Hella Limited set to enter the UK braking market

HELLA plans to purchase TMD's 50 % share in the Hella Pagid joint venture. HELLA would therefore become the sole shareholder of what has been, up to now, a joint venture. Both companies have signed a letter of intent to this effect. Founded in 2013, the Hella Pagid joint venture sells brake components and accessories to the automotive aftermarket worldwide with the exception of UK due to contractual agreement.

CONTROL VALVE, CAMSHAFT ADJUSTMENT

BRIEF INFORMATION
The control valve is an electromagnetic actuator for variable camshaft adjustment and is installed on the cylinder head in the camshaft area. The valve transmits the oil pressure through different channels to the camshaft phaser in accordance with the engine management specifications, which changes the position of the camshaft and changes the timing.

NOX SENSOR

BRIEF INFORMATION
The NOx sensor comprises a probe and a control unit. Via a cable harness these are firmly connected with each other to form a unit. This sensor unit is installed in the exhaust gas system and is used to recognise nitrogen oxides in the flow of exhaust gas.
