DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol)

DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol) is a communication protocol for automotive electronics. It enables flexible and powerful diagnosis of the systems. The diagnostic information taken from modern vehicles can be transmitted via the internet protocol (DoIP). This is particularly relevant for newer vehicle models whereby communication between the vehicle and the diagnostics takes place via this standardised protocol.

CAN-FD

CAN FD is a further development of the CAN data protocol and it enables vehicle manufacturers to achieve, for example, higher transmission speeds and more robust data communication between various control units in any one vehicle.
