Complaints have been received that the automatic door latch system is not correctly locking the vehicle door on the vehicles named above, and that this can also open while driving.
The cause for the described problem is defective software for the door lock module in this case.
Repair note:
A software update for the door lock module is installed in specialist workshops.
The vehicle manufacturer has already addressed the issue and notified the owners of all the affected models. For various reasons, however, it must be assumed that not all vehicles have been checked or modified.
