A fault in the control unit for the electronic automatic air-conditioning can be the cause of a discharged battery in some cases. An autonomously changing operating state can result in a permanent current consumption of 75 mA. In this case the software is to be checked using the type plate (Fig.).
If the versions "S3.10" or "S3.12" are found below the bar code, the ECC unit must be replaced.
Should the ECC unit have already been replaced by an authorised garage, this situation will have been marked with a white dot on the cover of the fuse box in the engine compartment.
