On the vehicles listed above, the fault light for the engine management system may light up and the the code P261A may be stored in error memory.
The error code refers to the electrically controlled coolant pump driven by the engine and not the electrical auxiliary pump.
The coolant pump is usually in working order.
To remedy the error, update the software for the engine control unit and carry out a visual inspection and function check.
