On vehicles with OM 629 engines, the possibility exists that there is a loss of engine power. The reason for this may be an electrical interruption in the crankshaft sensor.

The vehicle manufacturer is already aware of the problem. As part of a service campaign, the vehicles will be checked and the crankshaft sensors will be replaced.

Nevertheless, one may assume that for various reasons not all vehicles have been checked and repaired.

Please note this information in the wake of complaints in connection with engine power loss and possible malfunction "engine cannot be started".
