Waterbinnendringing achterlicht

Bij bovengenoemde voertuigen kunnen de functies van de achterlichten uitvallen door waterbinnendringing (afbeelding 1).

Voor een nadere beoordeling moet eerst het achterlicht worden uitgebouwd. Hiervoor de beide schroeven verwijderen (afbeelding 2).

Vervolgens de lamp zijwaarts losklikken (afbeelding 3), verwijderen en de fittingen van de gloeilampen eruit draaien. Hierbij op verontreinigingen en corrosie letten (afbeelding 4).

In de meeste gevallen is een defecte lasnaad van het kunststof (boven de lamp) verantwoordelijk voor de binnendring van water (afbeelding 5).
