Controle van de afschuifsterkte

In veel publicaties over de ECE-R90-goedkeuring wordt het begrip afschuifsterkte genoemd.

De afschuifsterkte controleert de sterkte van de verbinding tussen het frictiemateriaal en draagplaat van het remblok. Tijdens de test wordt opzettelijk zoveel kracht uitgeoefend dat het frictiemateriaal van de draagplaat wordt losgetrokken.
