Defect relaiscontact
Is bij bovenstaande voertuigen het dimlicht uitgevallen, kan dit met een verkeerde positionering van het dimlichtrelais in de relaissokkel samenhangen. Omdat het relais in de voetenruimte van de bijrijder onder het handschoenenvak is aangebracht, kan de storing door "voetcontact" van de bijrijder zijn veroorzaakt. In dit geval moet de positie, bevestiging en het stekkercontact van het relais worden gecontroleerd en eventueel worden hersteld. Hierbij wordt het aanbevolen het relais ook vast te zetten op de relaissokkel met een trekband.
