18-11-2020

Tired eyes on longer trips? Experiencing increasingly poor visibility – especially now when it gets dark earlier? If you struggle with that, we have something for you: replace your halogen inserts from the Luminator or Rallye 3003 headlamp series with a diameter of 222 mm and upgrade to full LED. Making your trips safer ... and your lighting a little more luxurious and stylish. Find out here how easy it is!

How long does upgrading to the HELLA full LED headlamp insert take? It’s best to leave about half an hour for the upgrade, but with a little skill and experience, you can upgrade in just 15 minutes.

Get your tools ready and take your new HELLA Luminator or Rallye 3003 auxiliary headlamps out of the packaging. Do a quick visual check. Don't forget to check the capillary protection of the headlamps. Then disconnect your headlamps from the voltage. Now there are only five steps that you should follow:

1. Loosen the four screws from the glass-holding frame and remove it. 2. Lift the halogen insert from the housing, release the cable plug-in connectors and prepare the connections. 3. Connect the cables from the new LED insert to the existing cabling using the crimp connectors supplied. 4. Place the LED insert into the housing and put the glass-holding frame back on. 5. Tighten the four screws again. Done!
