Application The reversing assistant consists of only three main components: a camera, a monitor and the necessary connecting cables. The system is connected to the vehicle's power supply and is activated by engaging the reverse gear. The camera with its integrated microphone and infrared LEDs enables safer parking and manoeuvring, both day and night. The driver can use the monitor to view the area behind the vehicle. Furthermore, an additional microphone integrated into the camera can alert the driver to passengers shouting, for example. In this way, collisions with people and objects can be avoided.
