The Oval 100 LED compact is the latest version of the comprehensive Oval 100 work lamp series. In addition to boasting complete corrosion resistance, this headlamp, with its innovative plastic housing, opens up many new installation options. The heat-conductive plastic housing features cooling fins on the reverse side, which ensure the required heat dissipation from the six high-power LEDs.
Thanks to its light output of 1,850 lumens, the Oval 100 LED is the perfect way to replace old halogen work lamps (H3, H9) – at a power consumption of only 26 watts. The light is distributed by a specially developed multi-faceted reflector, thus ensuring homogeneous illumination. At 6,500 kelvin, the light from the LED work lamp is very similar to daylight. This means that colours can be distinguished more clearly in the dark than in the yellowish light of halogen bulbs. This makes perception significantly easier for the human eyes, which stops them from tiring quickly.
The plastic housing is hermetically sealed and therefore watertight, submersible and resistant against high-pressure cleaning (IP 6K9K, IP 6K8). The integrated electronics protect the device against polarity inversion and ensure constant brightness even at fluctuating operating voltages of 10.5 to 32 volts. Temperature sensors protect the work lamp from overheating. This is the only way to guarantee that the LEDs have a long lifetime and to ensure a safe working environment at night.
