We use your personal data to technically manage our websites, for customer management, product surveys and marketing to the extent required and permitted for each specific case only. We will never transmit your data to third parties outside the HELLA Group without your consent, especially with regard to marketing purposes. We will transmit your data to authorities entitled to request such information insofar as this is required by law or has been mandated by a court order.

Data access

Selected employees within the HELLA Group have access to your data to ensure that our app operates correctly. The data must not be used by these employees for their own purposes. The employees tasked with data processing are committed to upholding confidentiality and data secrecy. Moreover, an appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed.

This website uses PIWIK PRO Cloud, a web analysis service provided by PIWIK. PIWIK PRO Cloud uses cookies – text files saved on your computer or smartphone – to help us analyse how visitors are using the website. The information compiled by the cookies concerning visitors' use of the website is saved and processed by PIWIK on servers in Germany.

 

IP addresses are fully anonymised before we are able to view the collated data via the PIWIK Suite. It's not possible to reverse the anonymisation of the IP addresses or match up the IP addresses with the collated data.

 

This information will help us analyse the behaviour of visitors to our website, create corresponding reports and ultimately improve the experience for visitors to our website. PIWIK will not pass on this information to third parties or use it for marketing or promotional purposes of any kind.

Newsletter

When logging into the newsletter, your e-mail address is used for our own marketing purposes until you have logged out of the newsletter. You can log out at any time, either by clicking the link in the newsletter or using the log-out function on the website.

 

To send our newsletter, we use the third parties Campaign Monitor, operated by Campaign Monitor Pty Ltd, and Salesforce, operated by Salesforce.com inc. Campaign Monitor offers extensive options to analyse how the newsletters are opened and used. These analyses are group-specific and not used by us for individual evaluation of newsletter recipients. Safety

We implement technical and organisational security measures to protect the data collected from you and managed by us against tampering, loss, destruction, access by unauthorised persons or unauthorised disclosure. Only a few, authorised individuals have access to your data.

 

As a rule, our website data and the information you send to our website are transferred in unencrypted format. Consequently, we cannot rule out that third parties may intercept and view and/or directly access the data transferred. Therefore, we ask that you take this aspect into account when deciding on whether, and to what extent, you are willing to transmit data to us over the Internet. On our portals that require registration and user login information, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for data transmission wherever possible.

 

Our security measures are continuously improved and adapted in accordance with technological developments.

Elective option
