How does the 360° camera system from HELLA work?

Essentially, the 360° camera system consists of a control unit, four cameras and a screen, linked together by a cable harness. The cameras’ ultra wide angle lens visualises the vehicle's surroundings and displays them on the screen in real time. The appropriate camera views are then displayed on the monitor, for example when the indicator is operated or reverse gear is engaged.

 

Of course, you’ll always be the boss of your truck. That’s why you can also actively select and deselect the 360° camera system’s views.

HELLA reversing assistant: Increased safety

Do you need more of a view to the rear? Then our reversing assistant is just the right thing for you. It supports you when manoeuvring and reversing and helps you to avoid collisions with people and vehicles. Use it when parking and enjoy a full view of loading ramps. Thanks to infrared LEDs, it’ll even help you after the sun goes down.

How does the reversing assistant from HELLA work?

The reversing assistant consists of only three main components: a camera with microphone, a monitor and the necessary connecting cables. The system is connected to the vehicle's power supply and is activated by engaging the reverse gear. You can use the monitor to view the area behind your vehicle. Furthermore, an additional microphone integrated into the camera allows the driver to hear passengers shouting or warning them better.
