Additional automotive sensors

Speed sensors

Speed sensors such as the camshaft or crankshaft sensor are required for showing the engine speed and the exact position and crankshaft. The control unit uses these values for calculating the injection and ignition impulses.

Throttle valve sensors

HELLA satisfies the increased demands for intelligent vehicle electronics solutions with a wide-ranging, innovative sensor portfolio covering accelerator pedal sensors, position sensors, steering sensors, medium sensors, air-conditioning sensors and rain/light sensors. Many leading automotive manufacturers have for years been trusting HELLA's electronics know-how and our longstanding development and product expertise in this area.

The HELLA throttle valve position sensor, for example, meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. Our product range comprises throttle valve sensors for many vehicle models of leading manufacturers.

Car rain sensor/car light sensors

HELLA’s rain/light/climate sensor features combined sensor control functions such as automatic windshield wipers, optimized lighting and air conditioning based on evaluation of solar loads and humidity in the vehicle, and also comes with a function to improve the visibility of the head-up display (HUD).

The rain/light/climate sensor module is one of the smallest sensors of its type on the market and features a flexible, modular design. It combines five functions: rain, light, solar load, humidity and visibility of the head-up display. These multiple functions can be combined as a package according to customer requirements.
