Mazda 3 (BK) - Water entering the vehicle interior

Water may enter the footwell on the passenger side via the condensation drain in the vehicles listed above.

A visual inspection should identify the area where the water is entering the footwell.

It may be required to remove some paneling and/or covers to do this. Technical documentation from the vehicle manufacturer is helpful for this.

To rectify the problem, the drain hose (drawing, item 8) can be replaced by a modified version (BP4K-61-526).
