Parking brake release switch "Current circuit faulty"
If this defect is determined on the vehicles specified above, a possible cause could be an insufficient function of the electric park brake switch.
A deformation of the chrome trim may lead to the switch jamming.
In this case, the installation situation between the switch and chrome trim must be checked in the bottom fairing on the gear lever.
If there is insufficient clearance determined here, the chrome trim and the fairing must be renewed.
