Vehicle pulls to one side

On the vehicles mentioned above, the vehicle may pull to one side even though the steering wheel is in the straight-ahead position.

Often the following measures have already been performed, which make sense but have not led to success:

  • Tyre pressure checked
  • Axle parts/axle suspension checked (joint/bearing play; spring broken, shock absorber defective etc.)
  • Wheels exchanged
  • Wheel alignment carried out
  • Error memory read out (no error stored)

To remedy this, the steering angle sensor can be recalibrated using a diagnostic device. Experience shows that the vehicle then runs straight again.
