Thermal Management – The Expert is Back

 

  • Back to Cool: HELLA is returning to thermal management. With over 20 product groups and around 3,500 SKUs – set to grow to 5,500 SKUs by Q1 2027 – HELLA offers a comprehensive product range for passenger cars, lorries and commercial vehicles.

Brakes – Expanded range for cars, trucks and trailers

 

  • Over 30 years’ expertise in brakes – now even more comprehensive. With over 11,000 SKUs for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as new products for trucks, buses and trailers, HELLA is consistently expanding its product range.
  • Premium quality with OEM expertise.  HELLA supplies brake pads, discs, hydraulics, fluids and chemicals, as well as a comprehensive range of brake electronics for almost all common vehicle types. The existing range of brake pads covers over 90 per cent of the European fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles. For brake discs, the figure is more than 85 per cent.
  • Efficiency in the workshop. Excellent value for money, striking a balance between expensive brands and risky budget options, plus superior packaging for simple, hassle-free assembly.

 

 

ADAS components – OE technology for the aftermarket

 

  • Driver assistance has arrived on the aftermarket. Since 2022, the law has required new vehicles to be fitted with nine driver assistance systems. HELLA is bringing its original equipment (OE) sensor technology – radar, steering angle sensor, rain and light sensor and more – directly to the independent aftermarket.
  • Market leader with over 20 years’ experience. Over 100 million radar sensors produced for around 30 OEMs; five generations of rain and light sensors featuring patented CIPOS technology: This production-ready version is now available to garages.

SEG-Tool PLUS & PRO – New headlamp alignment range

 

  • Adjusting headlights with precision – from analogue to digital. The SEG-Tool PLUS meets all the requirements for the annual roadworthiness test; the SEG-Tool PRO, as a digital headlamp tester, sets new standards for modern matrix LED systems.
  • User-friendly operation that makes day-to-day work easier. A large Fresnel lens, green laser alignment, a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, an intuitive user interface and seamless connectivity via hgsCONNECT ensure fast, error-free results.

We’ll show how HELLA Gutmann’s new diagnostic platform guides workshop technicians through the diagnostic process, helping them to work more efficiently, make clearer decisions and turn complex fault-finding into a more profitable workshop service.

Mario Maaß has been part of the workshop sector since 2011 and has been contributing his experience in the automotive industry since 2018. Thanks to his holistic approach to automotive engineering, he plays a key role in the ongoing development of innovative solutions and has first-hand knowledge of the requirements of the independent aftermarket.

 

His aim is to help businesses successfully integrate new developments into their day-to-day operations. He is particularly fascinated by the rapid pace of innovation in the industry and the ongoing development of diagnostic, ADAS and lighting systems. With his open and energetic manner, he motivates professionals to see change as an opportunity and to play an active part in shaping the future.

 

 

Marcel Gerbracht has been working in the automotive industry for around 20 years. After completing his apprenticeship as a commercial vehicle mechanic, he went on to qualify as a master craftsman, gained many years of practical experience and subsequently took on a managerial role as workshop manager. As a Bachelor Professional in Automotive Engineering, he combines in-depth specialist knowledge with a thorough understanding of the requirements of modern automotive engineering.

 

Marcel has been in charge of international training programmes at Hella Gutmann Solutions since 2018. His areas of expertise include ADAS, lighting technology, vehicle electronics and high-voltage technology. Whether at international trade fairs, on training courses or during live demonstrations – Marcel is known for his clear and accessible way of sharing knowledge and his ability to make complex technical concepts easy to understand.

 

 

Christoph Salmen has been working in the automotive industry for almost 40 years. As a qualified mechanic, workshop foreman and technical trainer, he combines many years of practical experience with extensive technical expertise. For the past 18 years, he has been supporting garages in successfully implementing new requirements relating to modern vehicle systems.

 

His expertise ranges from ADAS and vehicle diagnostics to lighting and climate control systems, and e-mobility. Participants particularly appreciate his clear and practical approach to explaining technical content. His enthusiasm for innovation and his keen sense of current trends make him a sought-after expert on the challenges of today and tomorrow.

 

 

Matthias Kreggenwinkel has been working in the automotive industry for 15 years and understands the challenges faced by independent garages from his own experience. Running an independent garage has sharpened his eye for practical solutions and given him a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced in a garage.

 

His area of expertise includes the repair of electric vehicles and the safe handling of high-voltage systems. He is particularly concerned with the ongoing development of e-mobility and the associated demands placed on businesses and staff. With his relaxed and practical approach, he conveys knowledge relevant to the future in a clear and practical way – always with the aim of preparing workshops for the mobility of tomorrow.
