EXPANDED BRAKE CALIPER COVERAGE

HELLA offers its customers more than 2,000 brake callipers. The range currently comprises more than 350 new parts without a deposit and over 1,800 replacement brake callipers. More than 350 brake callipers are available as new parts without a deposit and are also offered as replacement brake callipers. The portfolio of these new brake callipers covers all the top names in the European vehicle fleet.

Due to the growing demand from end consumers for repairs that are reasonably priced, remanufactured used parts, such as our brake callipers, are an increasingly attractive alternative for workshops and motorists. One way of explaining the growing demand for remanufactured parts is the higher proportion of older vehicles and the fact that they have a longer service lifetime overall. Environmental considerations are also playing an increasingly important role, as valuable resources and our environment can be conserved by remanufacturing replacement parts.

However, HELLA does not take chances with product safety. Whether the part is new or a remanufactured used part, the safety standards remain high and sophisticated.

For this reason, the remanufacturing process follows precisely defined procedures and standards. For example, all safety-relevant components and all rubber parts are fully replaced. All other components are completely reworked. This means that a replacement calliper from HELLA fulfils the highest safety and quality requirements.

meet this requirement

Please use the list below to check the condition and quality of used brake callipers before returning them:

  • The used part must match the purchased product.
  • The used part must be complete.
  • All calliper guides, connection and vent threads and fastenings must be present.
  • The used part must not show any excessive damage due to corrosion.
  • The used part must not be cracked or mechanically processed.
  • Only used parts that are suitable for remanufacturing can be taken back and credited

If the used part fulfils the specified return criteria, please observe the points below before returning it:

  • A deposit credit is only possible if the used part is returned in its original packaging.
  • The label on the packaging must not be removed, soiled or labelled.
  • No deposit credit will be issued for used parts that are not entitled to a deposit.
