A screwdriver and a line on the wall are not enough. You always need a diagnostic device for the data exchange with the light control units and a professional headlight aimer. The professional digital Headlight Aimer SEG V by Hella Gutmann Solutions makes the challenge manageable and efficient. The SEG V combines innovative technologies such as the CMOS camera, level sensor technology and powerful data processing with the

The SEG V is specifically designed to adjust vehicles with adaptive headlights. It supports advanced calibration algorithms for a variety of modern headlight systems, including:

➔ Audi Matrix LED and Audi HD Matrix LED,
➔ BMW Spot Light,
➔ Mercedes ILS (Intelligent Light System),
➔ VW DLA (Dynamic Light Assist) and VW Matrix LED,
➔ Tesla LED Headlight,
➔ Ford ILS (Intelligent Light System)
and Ford Matrix.

This ensures precise adjustment for each of these systems, optimizing their performance and ensuring they function as intended.

SEG V- Intuitive operation via touchscreen — Simultaneously with turning the headlamp adjustment screws in the specified direction of the arrow, the mapped light distribution shifts to successfully match the auxiliary and tolerance lines.

The device is extremely easy and intuitive to operate. All functions are selected in the clear menu on the touchscreen. In the background, customized algorithms as part of the working software ensure process optimization and a result according to the manufacturer
specifications.

Depending on the brand of the car and headlight type, the process of a basic adjustment requires different procedures, including a diagnostic device. The SEG V knows the procedures and supports you, starting with the vehicle and headlight selection. Thanks to
the vehicle database contained in the SEG V, you can do this fast and effectively.

Once the SEG V is correctly positioned in front of the car with the help of the line laser and the headlight system is selected, the light distributions provided with auxiliary and tolerance lines and their evaluation by signals are displayed on the screen almost
in real time.

The result, which of course complies with the applicable SAE standard, can be documented in the test report and stored in the SEG V's data memory.
