If the numbers are before the four-digit number code 8208, the ignition coils should be replaced. In addition, a check must be run to see to what extent a software update for the engine control unit is available.

A software update can be carried out using Hella-Gutmann macsRemote Services or a pass-through-compatible Mega-Macs series diagnostic device.
