ABS control units

The hydraulic unit of the brake system with its control unit for braking and driving dynamics has become part of standard equipment in every modern vehicle model.

The control unit evaluates the speed (RPM) of all four wheels in order to determine both the vehicle speed and the wheel acceleration. In addition, it regulates the brake pressure individually on each wheel and ensures the maximum possible brake force. The result is that lane stability and steerability are both guaranteed even during abrupt emergency braking.

As one of the first suppliers, HELLA offers ABS control units to the independent aftermarket.
