Reliable helpers: With their compact design, the Linear actuators are always used when reliable electrical locking and unlocking, or closing of hinged and locking systems is required in the automotive or industrial sector. Examples include the opening and closing of doors, flaps, windows, seats, glove compartments, and much more.

 

The laser-welded polyamide housing, which consists of two halves, contains an electric motor that moves a spindle gear. Depending on the plus-minus current flow of the two pins, a tappet is retracted or extended. After successful activation, the electric motor inside is short-circuited and the locking position is stabilized. An integrated PolySwitch (PTC) prevents thermal overload of the motor.

 

The HELLA Linear actuators can optionally be equipped with a mainspring for automatic reset (retraction or extension). Various available fasteners allow for high application flexibility.
