HELLA's Stock Market Listing Wins Award for European Equity Issue of the Year 2014

Lippstadt, January 22, 2015. HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co, one of the world's leading suppliers of automotive lighting and electronics, has won the highly-regarded International Financing Review Award 2014 in the category "EMEA Equity Issue". Explaining their reasons for conferring the award on January 21, 2015 in London, the experts from the IFR said that it was in recognition of the custom-tailored transaction structure which HELLA had used to float the company successfully on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under challenging conditions in November 2014.

 

"We set ourselves ambitious targets for our flotation and developed a structure to meet the requirements perfectly. To improve the security of the transaction in a difficult market, HELLA used two consecutive private placements for the flotation. The experts at the IFR found that it was this innovative structure which enabled HELLA to combine the benefits of public and private financing successfully.
