Det må af forskellige årsager antages, at ikke alle biler er kontrolleret eller repareret. Aktionen har hos Volvo den interne forkortelse "R89707".

Condensation in vehicle interior

In the vehicles listed above, there is a chance of water getting into the interior. Over longer periods of time, this may also lead to malfunctions in the electrical systems. This may be caused by an incorrectly mounted condensation drain hose.

In order to rectify this problem, the drain hose of the air-conditioning system should be checked, and replaced if necessary. It may also be necessary to modify the wiring harness.

The vehicle manufacturer has already addressed the issue and notified the owners of all the affected models. For various reasons, however, it can be assumed that not all vehicles have been inspected and repaired. Volvo has assigned the internal code "R89707" to this operation.
