Problems with the temperature controller
In the vehicles specified above, corrosion in or on a connector and / or a damaged wiring harness can adversely affect the control of the air-conditioning system.
If there are problems in controlling the temperature of the air-conditioning system (set temperature is not reached or maintained), we recommend checking the wiring of the driver side door.
The connector contacts of the door wiring harness can corrode due to water entry. In addition, the wiring harness can also be damaged by contact with the window lift mechanism.
The outside temperature sensor, whose measured values are also used to control the air-conditioning system, is located in the left side mirror. The wiring to the sensor is part of the door wiring harness. Faults in this area can also affect the control of the air-conditioning system.
