Caution: risk of burns. The lamps may still have residual heat from previous operation.

Never touch the glass bulbs of the lamps with bare hands.

Replacing the lamps in the tailgate (figure 1)

To replace the lamps, proceed as follows:

• Switch off the ignition and light switch
• Open the tailgate
• Remove plastic covers (figure 2)

Position 1: rear fog light

Position 2: back-up light

• Position 1: Loosen the lamp holder in a counterclockwise direction and remove it (figure 3)
• Replace the defective lamp with a new one
• Insert the lamp holder and fix it in position in a clockwise direction
• Position 2: Loosen the lamp holder in a counterclockwise direction and remove it
• Replace the defective lamp with a new one
• Insert the lamp holder and fix it in position in a clockwise direction
• Check function
• Install plastic covers
