MINIR50/52/53Årgang: 2001 - 2009Motor: W10 B16 ATab af kølevæskeHvis der konstateres tab af kølevæske på ovennævnte modeller, kan årsagen være en defekt kølevæskeslange ved generatoren.Specielt på ældre modeller kan slangen berøre en af generatorens bolte og blive slidt igennem.Ved en visuel kontrol kan det konstateres, om slangen er beskadiget hhv. utæt.Ved udskiftning af slangen skal afstanden til bolten være mindst 8 mm. Desuden skal det påses, at mærkerne (slange og køler) sidder korrekt i forhold til hinanden. Kølesystemet skal udluftes fagmæssigt korrekt efter påfyldning.

Loss of coolant

When coolant loss occurs in the above vehicles, a defective coolant hose in the area of the alternator might be the cause.

Especially in older models, the hose may enter into contact with the fastening screw of the alternator and, thus, wear through.

A visual check is required to find out in how far damage and/or a leak have occurred.

When replacing the hose, the distance to the screw must be at least 8 mm. Furthermore, it is important to ensure that the reference markers (hose and engine radiator) are aligned correctly. The cooling system should be properly ventilated following the refill.
