If a customer complains about the above problem, this could be caused by the fuel pressure control valve. Furthermore, occasional loss of power and poor engine cold starting performance may also be complained about. In this case, the control valve must be replaced (see Figure 1). It can be obtained under number 294009-0120. The valve is located on the rear housing part of the high pressure pump (Fig. 2).
