If one or more of the above-mentioned errors occurs in these vehicle models, one potential cause for this may that water has entered the plug sockets of the wheel rotational speed sensors on the rear axle. In this case, the plug sockets of the cable sets for the ABS sensors must be checked at the wheel hubs. If water has entered at the plug sockets or corrosion is already noticed, the affected plug and sensor must be replaced. Unaffected or new plug sockets should be greased with silicone grease prior to installation.
