Shanghai, 10 December 2019. Lighting and electronics expert HELLA has appointed new heads for its business activities in China. Didier Keskas (51) is now responsible for the automotive supplier’s Lighting business in Asia/Pacific, while Jörg Brandscheid (52) has taken over the management of HELLA’s Electronics business in China. In these capacities Keskas and Brandscheid are now also Executive Board members of HELLA’s global Lighting and Electronics division, respectively.

French-born Didier Keskas says: "The lighting business of HELLA is already strongly positioned thanks to its excellent products and production facilities. Our goal is to build up on this and strengthen our market position in China further." Didier Keskas, who graduated in Mechanical Engineering and also received a Master of Business Administration, has 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and worked in various positions including production engineering, key account management and regional management.
German-born Jörg Brandscheid has a diploma in Electrical Engineering and has worked for over 25 years in various positions within the automotive industry and comparable business fields. In this context, he previously held leading positions in the areas of powertrain electronics and engineering. "China is accelerating the transformation of the automotive industry, especially with regard to electrification and automated driving. Based on its extensive electronics expertise, HELLA can make a significant contribution in these areas", says Jörg Brandscheid.
