In this way, macsNova supports technicians in moving faster from error messages to an informed repair decision. Selected functions are already available today in the diagnostic solutions mega macs PRO, mega macs S20 and mega macs PLUS. As the overarching diagnostic intelligence of the Hella Gutmann ecosystem, macsNova will combine diagnostics, technical data, workshop processes and digital services even more closely in the future.

From error code to informed decision

Modern vehicles are increasingly software-defined, networked and complex. The number of ECUs, data sources and possible causes of errors is growing continuously - and with it the Requirements for workshops. macsNova comes in right here: Instead of manually evaluating information from different sources, the technician receives contextual information and structured orientation for the next meaningful test steps.

Available macsNova Features

The macsNova functions already available today include automatic diagnostics: After vehicle identification and error code query, the system analyzes relevant vehicle data, evaluates parameters and compares diagnostic information with the Hella Gutmann knowledge base. The result is prioritized causes of errors as well as concrete indications as to which components should be approved as a priority.

This is supplemented by the AI Smart Help Call: If suggested diagnostic paths do not lead to the Goal, relevant vehicle data can be transmitted directly from the diagnostic interface to the Hella Gutmann hotline. The workshop then receives an AI-supported solution proposal - without duplicate description, based on the diagnostic data already available. If necessary, direct expert contact is also possible.
