- Filters with strong OE quality and an excellent price-performance ratio
- Approximately 1,700 part numbers already available through trade partners
- Further expansion with a focus on Asian vehicles and commercial vehicles from early 2027
- Short part number codes for fast product identification
Lippstadt, 8 September 2026. HELLA Aftermarket, the independent spare parts and workshop business of international automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA, is presenting its growing filter product line at Automechanika 2026. With this launch, the company underlines its commitment to being the preferred full-range supplier for independent workshops and trade partners. Following the successful launch of the filter product line earlier this year, HELLA Aftermarket is now listed with all four filter segments – cabin, engine air, oil and fuel filters – at leading distributors and in the parts trade. The current portfolio comprises approximately 1,700 part numbers. From early 2027, a significant expansion will follow, with a targeted focus on Asian vehicles and the introduction of a complete commercial vehicle line across all four filter segments.
"Filter is a commodity product – which makes the right quality all the more important," says Thomas Gorkow, Head of Product Management Mechanical Parts IAM at FORVIA HELLA. Selected HELLA references are sourced from the same production partners that supply leading vehicle manufacturers in original equipment. "The result is a seamless portfolio in OE quality – from lighting technology and electronics to thermal management, braking and now filters. This brings us one decisive step closer to our goal of being the most reliable partner for independent workshops and the parts trade."
Cabin Filters
The HELLA cabin filter range comprises more than 450 articles in three variants: standard pollen filters, filters with activated carbon, and filters with antibacterial function — with European passenger car vehicle coverage of approximately 90 percent at launch.
The antibacterial variants retain virtually all bacteria before they can enter the vehicle interior. Comparative tests confirm a filtration efficiency of a consistent 99.97 percent – even for particles as small as 0.3 micrometres – placing them well above the level of many competing products. In addition, HELLA cabin filters protect heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems from airborne pollutants, extending the service life and efficiency of the relevant vehicle components.
Engine Air Filters
With 690 part numbers, the HELLA engine air filter range covers a broad vehicle spectrum. The filters are designed for longevity, filtration performance and operational reliability: a water-treated, vibration-resistant filter medium, a folded construction with additional reinforcement, high-quality foam seals and integrated protective layers against dust and fire risk form the technical foundation.
Oil Filters
The HELLA oil filter line comprises 286 part numbers. A high-quality filter medium with optimised folding minimises pressure drop and maximises dirt-holding capacity. Precision bypass valves, corrosion-resistant housings and durable seals ensure reliable operation, even under extreme temperature conditions.
Fuel Filters
The HELLA fuel filter range encompasses 254 part numbers and has been designed for reliable operation even with aggressive or low-quality fuels and under high temperatures and pressures. Specially folded filter media, corrosion-resistant precision end caps and pressure-resistant coated filter baskets ensure consistently reliable filtration performance.
Easy to Identify. Quick to Install.
All HELLA filter types are instantly recognisable through a unified short-code system: CF (Cabin Filter), AF (Air Filter), OF (Oil Filter) and FF (Fuel Filter). Installation support is available via TecDoc and the HELLA TECHWORLD portal, where professional repair information can be found.
