Loading and unloading trailers are tasks requiring a maximum amount of concentration. That is why good illumination is so important: it ensures that valuable goods can be moved quickly and safely. To ensure that there is a power supply for such lighting even when there is no towing vehicle present, we have the HELLA PS-Fix, the ""Park Safety Fix"". The battery-assisted power source reliably supplies the trailer with energy so that the existing light system can be used at any time.

 

The HELLA PS-Fix "Park Safety Fix" can be attached to practically any trailer. The battery box has a compact, simple design and a powder-coated, very robust metal housing. It reliably supplies a voltage of 24 volts and is connected directly to the existing light system via the HELLA EasyConn wiring system. The intelligent charging management system enables a long lifetime."

Operating the HELLA PS-Fix "Park Safety Fix" battery box


The HELLA PS-Fix, the "Park Safety Fix" is very easy to operate. The buttons are illuminated and thus easy to recognise even in the dark – one press of a button is enough to activate the lighting. The battery power of 18 Ah is more than sufficient for most applications. Reliability is further enhanced by protection regarding overheating and polarity reversal and also by the IP 54 degree of protection.


HELLA PS-Fix , the "Park Safety Fix" can also be used to actively illuminate parked trailers. There are several different options available for this purpose: the red parking light clearly indicates the position of the trailer. The pulsating amber hazard warning light is even more recognisable. Work lamps or beacons can also be connected to the power source and controlled by the touch of a button. Especially on unlit roads and car parks, this significantly increases the safety factor for trailers and also that of other road users.
