Electromechanical horns

Sound for safety: Electromechanical horns provide reliable and powerful signaling for all types of vehicles. By converting electrical energy into mechanical vibrations, they produce a penetrating, clear sound that effectively warns other road users and enhances road safety.

Thanks to their robust construction and durable components, electromechanical horns deliver consistent performance even under demanding conditions—making them ideal for everyday use and the highest safety requirements.

FORVIA HELLA’s electronic horns are available with a low tone (300 to 335 Hz) and a high tone (380 to 450 Hz), and can be supplied in 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, or 80 V versions. They produce a sound pressure level of approximately 112 dB(A) to 118 dB(A) at a distance of 2 meters.

Product Advantages

  • They are resistant to vibrations, moisture, and temperature fluctuations

  • Horns can be easily integrated into existing vehicle architectures without complex control electronics

  • Compared to electronic variants, electromechanical horns are cheaper to maintain
