Lippstadt, August 23, 2017 From August 25 to September 3, 2017, lighting and electronics expert HELLA will present its product portfolio at this year's Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf (Hall 13, Stand A03). It is the world's biggest trade fair for caravans, motorhomes and camping equipment.

The modular lamp series Shapeline will be the highlight at the fair stand. It consists of LED front, side and rear lamps, which can be combined among each other. The lamps are available in two designs: the Shapeline Tech design offers traditional straight forms while the Shapeline Style design line features curved and dynamic shapes. This allows vehicle manufacturers to create individual and consistent designs of, both, small and large vehicle series according to the modular principle. Thanks to an online configurator, interested parties can comfortably assemble their signature lighting on their computers (www.hella.com/shapeline/). Particularly practical: the configurator can selectively take into account the current European ECE R48 and/or the American SAE regulation. The modular Shapeline system makes extensions, retrofitting or modifications easy. New or additional lamps can be directly integrated into the existing planning.

Demands are increasing not only in view of design but also in view of technology inside the mobile home. Demand for energy is therefore continuously on the rise in motorhomes and caravans. In order to always have an eye on consumption, HELLA introduced in early 2017 the second generation of Intelligent Battery Sensors (IBS) for 12 volt batteries, made for applications in caravans and motorhomes, among other things. The sensor can be integrated without problem into the vehicle wiring system where it monitors battery voltage, power and temperature. IBS is furthermore capable of monitoring larger or multi-row batteries.

At its fair stand, HELLA will present the proven products of its headlamp program for motorhomes with light guide and bi-LED modules as well as multi-functional rear lamps for caravans and motorhomes. The company will additionally shine a spotlight on the module switch series 4100, which is suitable for, both, 12 and 24 volt operating voltage. The portfolio now comprises 45 different switches for 12 and 24 volt applications. Throughout, they cover different functions, such as heatable exterior mirrors, reading lamps and Bluetooth. Particularly practical: all switches can be combined among each other and up to four light sources ensure durable and targeted illumination.
