TierX products for mobility-related segments

As a strategic partner, HELLA offers Tier 1 and Tier 2 system suppliers electronics and lighting solutions. Products for non-automotive customers

Customers include, for example, lifting platform manufacturers for whom intelligent battery sensors are an important feature for active, efficient energy management. Whether as a mobile workstation for construction, repair or installation tasks at a height, for example on ceilings or walls, or as a goods lift for people, materials and equipment, scissor lifts have to work! The HELLA battery sensor therefore ensures that the battery is monitored reliably. It measures the battery condition parameters and uses them to calculate the capacity and state of charge as well as their current and future performance.
The future is electric, the current megatrend of electrification can also be felt at HELLA:  the charge point business has grown rapidly and has become a growth market. HELLA manufactures actuators for this sector. These are used as locks in the charging infrastructure, both on the vehicle and wallbox side.
 

A growing product range

Not only will the charge point business continue to expand, but the entire product range will grow in the future: HELLA will continue to standardise its large-scale OE products and also develop new products – for example, a new generation of micro actuators for charge points and a modular pedal sensor that knows no limits in the ways it can be mounted. This has a high protection class, making it particularly interesting for customers from the off-highway sector.
