HELLA at the Caravan Salon 2023: Technologies for best performance and characteristic design

22-08-2023

HELLA, the automotive supplier who operates under the umbrella brand FORVIA, will again be present with its own stand at this year's Caravan Salon, the leading trade fair for mobile travel.

The keypoints in short

  • SlimLine Bi-LED headlamps: first rectangular light module
  • Illuminated logo: individualised emblems for the radiator grille
  • Fresh impulses: Product innovations from the universal lighting sector

The main focus of HELLA's presence at the trade fair (25 August to 3 September 2023, Hall 14 Stand A50) will be on the latest technologies that offer caravan manufacturers the best possible lighting performance and characteristic design options as well as drivers an even safer and more comfortable driving experience.

SlimLine Bi-LED headlamps: first rectangular light module

The SlimLine Bi-LED headlamp is not only powerful and robust, but above all sets standards in design language. As the first rectangular light module in the HELLA portfolio, it follows a highly topical design trend: away from round lamps and towards a striking front. In addition, the headlamp bezel can be customised with a colour or logo to further emphasise the individual design language of the vehicle. Thanks to the excellent light output as well as the robust housing, the SlimLine module, which combines low beam and high beam in a single headlamp module, is also ideal for long journeys in motorhomes, for example. Further light functions are also available: the new LED combination lamp with the light functions daytime running, position and direction indicator light as well as the new LED fog lamp with cornering light round off the SlimLine portfolio.

Illuminated logo: customised emblem for the radiator grille

To give the front of motorhomes an additional characteristic appearance, HELLA will also be presenting illuminated customer logos at the Caravan Salon, making the customer emblem a radiant eye-catcher. To give the radiator grille an attractive, exclusive day and night appearance, the light outlets are illuminated at night or when switched on and defined structures become visible. Coming-home and leaving-home scenarios are also conceivable for an even more individual light signature.

Fresh impulses: Product innovations from the universal lighting sector

Thanks to its ultra-compact design and slim silhouette, the new rear fog lamp from HELLA fits ideally into the vehicle design. The special feature of the product innovation: It is placed so discreetly that it is barely visible - a design trend that is also becoming more and more prevalent in the commercial vehicle sector with these lighting functions. Another highlight in the area of universal lighting is the new CircLED 90 LED combination lamp. With a clean shape and slim profile, it blends seamlessly into modern vehicle designs. CircLED 90 implements the three different lighting functions - daytime running, position and direction indicator light - in one module and, thanks to the homogeneous light distribution, also sets accents in terms of functionality and safety.

Discover these and other product highlights from 25 August to 3 September 2023 at the HELLA booth, Hall 14, Stand A50.
