Rotatory actuators for high temperatures

Optimum valve control and improved fuel efficiency: The Rotatory actuators for high temperatures regulate the pressure boost of turbo-charged combustion engines. It controls a valve that regulates the flow of exhaust gases to the turbine system. If the power requirement is lower, it diverts the exhaust gases from the turbine wheel of the engine system. These electric actuators also shorten the so-called ’turbo lag' and produce fewer ’turbo flutter'.

With an Rotatory actuators for high temperatures the driver can control the motor speed of turbo engine more precisely. The Rotatory actuators for high temperatures contain the CIPOS® technology developed by HELLA – an exceedingly robust technology for positioning. The position is measured inductively using a non-contact and consequently wear-free method, thus guaranteeing high measuring precision throughout the entire lifetime.

Product Advantages

  • Integrated electronics consisting of CIPOS® (Contactless Inductive Position Sensor) motor control and error detection
  • Spur gear adapted to the exhaust pressure characteristics
  • High measurement accuracy
