"The ground is prepared for a successful future"
HELLA employees now have access to Faurecia's powerful online training platform. A wide range of courses are available there. They are accessible to everyone, for example on topics such as communication, innovation, creativity or time management.
The Learning Lab, which HELLA employees can now access, was developed by Faurecia University. Established in 2014 in Nanterre, it is Faurecia's central training facility. The program also includes diverse e-learning offerings.

Just two weeks after Day One, which symbolizes the beginning of a joint future for HELLA and Faurecia, additional training opportunities will open up for HELLA employees. For example, all HELLA employees now have access to Faurecia's digital training platform, the so-called "Learning Lab" - and thus to a range of over 2,000 different training courses.
"I am pleased that we can now also access Faurecia's Learning Lab and thus further expand our training offering for HELLA's global workforce," says Dr. Lea Corzilius, who is, among other things, responsible for global human resources management on the HELLA Management Board. Back in 2014, Faurecia established its own Faurecia University, which acts as the company's central training facility, at its headquarters in Nanterre. The Learning Lab was also developed there.
"The world around us is becoming more and more complex, our everyday working lives more dynamic and demanding. Not least against this background, the continuous further training of employees worldwide is becoming increasingly important. The fact that HELLA employees can now access Faurecia's Learning Lab is a key building block in this regard. With the Learning Lab, employees can consciously select training content that helps them personally or in which they are particularly interested," emphasizes Lea Corzilius.
An essential element of the Learning Lab is above all the promotion of methodical, personal or social competences. How can creativity and agility be increased? How do you behave in conflict situations? How can time management or collaboration in virtual teams be further improved? But there are also corresponding offerings on more specific topics: for example, sustainability, big data, artificial intelligence, quality or production processes.
Users can choose from over 20 different topic categories, also called "skills". Overarching issues that are composed of topics from several categories are bundled in so-called "playlists". Two such playlists have been specially designed in view of Day One: an onboarding compilation that provides essential basic knowledge about Faurecia, and one that deals specifically with change processes, entitled "Managing Change".
"The wide variety of topics is certainly a decisive plus point of the Learning Lab. In the end, there is something helpful for every employee and for every situation," says Lea Corzilius. "Another advantage is that the platform uses many different formats and concepts. This means that training can be flexibly integrated into the daily work routine as needed and at one's own leisure."
For example, the Learning Lab offers both short, quick training courses, known as micro-learnings, with a length of five to a maximum of 30 minutes, as well as more comprehensive training courses called MOOCs - Massive Open Online Courses - which are designed for larger numbers of participants. Many contain fun elements, for example in the form of a quiz at the end of the learning unit. Podcasts, webinars or interactive presentations are also available. They are prepared similarly to classic e-learnings.
Faurecia's Learning Lab can be accessed via https://faurecia.coorpacademy.com/. Only the HELLA mail address and the Windows password are required for registration. The content is available free of charge and at any time of day.
