First production facilities in North and South America: FORVIA HELLA expands production network for agricultural and construction machinery segment

• Expansion of the global production network with productions of work and auxiliary headlamps as well as customer-specific off-highway solutions in Guadalajara, Mexico
• The goal is to further improve the supply of customers in North, Central and South America and to strengthen the market presence in this core region in the long term

Lippstadt, 5 March 2026. The international automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA is strengthening its business in the agricultural and construction machinery segment and is building up local production capacities in North and South America for the first time. The focus is on the production of work and auxiliary headlamps as well as customer-specific solutions for off-highway applications. To this end, the company will initially draw on existing capacities of FORVIA HELLA's existing lighting plant in Guadalajara, Mexico.

With the expansion of production capacities, FORVIA HELLA is pursuing the goal of further improving the supply of customers in North, Central and South America and sustainably strengthening its market presence in this core region. From the end of 2027, the plant in Guadalajara will produce entry-level products up to premium products from the FORVIA HELLA portfolio. The offering is aimed at both OEM applications and the commercial market, with a significant focus on agricultural and construction machinery.

The strategic expansion of production capacities aims to supply up to a third of the total volume of work lamps from the region within ten years. This will expand production in the core markets in a targeted manner and further strengthen FORVIA HELLA's competitiveness.
