- New product groups and comprehensive portfolio expansion for passengecars, light commercial vehicles, and commercial vehicles
- Thermal management product range specifically benefits from HELLA OE expertise and the comprehensive portfolio in the field of electrics & electronics for thermal management
Lippstadt, 10 February 2026. HELLA Aftermarket, the independent spare parts and workshop business of the international automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA, is expanding its thermal management portfolio in the independent aftermarket by an additional 1,500 items. Following the introduction of an initial replacement parts range of around 900 items last year, HELLA now offers a comprehensive lineup for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and commercial vehicles with a total of 2,400 items. In addition to expanding existing product groups, HELLA is launching eleven new product categories, including fan clutches for engine cooling, oil coolers, coolant expansion tanks, and expansion valves.
“With the expansion of our thermal management range, we are reaching another milestone on our path to becoming one of the leading providers in thermal management once again. Our goal is to offer our customers a first-class range with the highest market coverage, distinguished by quality, innovation, and high availability by the end of 2027. Therefore, we plan to more than double our thermal portfolio to around 6,000 parts by then,” explains Dr. Marcel Wiedmann, Head of Aftermarket at HELLA.
Know-how from original equipment for the independent aftermarket
HELLA draws on its many years of OE expertise in thermal management to gradually transfer innovative solutions—such as the Coolant Control Hub (CCH)—from the automotive business into the independent aftermarket. Moreover, the new thermal management product range is reinforced by the comprehensive Electrical & Electronic portfolio in thermal management, which includes, for example, coolant thermostats, temperature sensors, and air quality sensors. “Thanks to this combination, independent workshops and parts wholesalers benefit from extensive and in-depth system understanding that already anticipates the technologies of tomorrow,” says Wiedmann.
Since the introduction of the thermal management range, HELLA has ensured compliance with the highest standards and quality. Supported by its own test laboratories in Germany and China as well as external test labs, this enables rapid market introduction of new products in the well-known HELLA quality. The Easy2Fit concept also ensures that necessary accessory parts are always included to guarantee optimal fit and easy installation. In addition, HELLA offers flexible delivery options such as in-night, overnight, and next-day delivery, ensuring quick response times and stable product availability.
Technical support and training programs
With HELLA Tech World, the company provides an online platform that supports workshops with valuable expert knowledge about modern cooling systems. Complemented by the diagnostic expertise of Hella Gutmann Solutions, this offering enables targeted fault analysis. Starting in 2026, HELLA plans special training programs tailored specifically to the needs of workshops and wholesalers to improve efficiency in repairing complex cooling systems and to prepare professionals for the challenges of modern thermal management technologies.
