“Some time before graduation I started planning the first steps of my career. From the very beginning I knew that I wanted to work for an international company whose products inspire me. With HELLA I found a company where those two facts have been successfully combined. However, there were more issues I considered as important when choosing the company I wanted to start my career with. For instance it should be innovative and set up solidly through diverse products and services. Here at HELLA I am inspired by the company’s wide and constantly developing product range. Moreover I liked that I was given the opportunity to get to know six different departments in the field of finance and controlling. This also included a three month stay in Changchun, China. I also highly appreciated the fact that I was in charge of various projects from the very beginning. This, however, was never a problem as working with my colleagues was great from day one.“


Information about the Trainee Program

The HELLA Trainee Program offers you the ideal start to your career: interesting projects in various departments, international scope, mentorship, and further opportunities for training designed to meet your requirements.

We offer 18-month specialized trainee programs throughout which we foster your individual competencies. You will work at different stations where you will acquire a comprehensive overview of the functions of your department and carry out tasks and projects independently from the start. To round off the program, you will spend 3 months in another country. In the course of the program, we will work with you to determine your eventual position. Another positive aspect is that at the start of their program HELLA trainees receive a contract of indefinite duration with the guarantee of employment.
