​Climate protection is everyone's business. HELLA employees can now get involved as ambassadors in climate protection projects under the FORVIA umbrella and learn more about sustainability.

Would you like to expand your knowledge on the subject of CO₂ neutrality and actively support the environment? In the FORVIA climate protection network, interested employees at HELLA and Faurecia can contribute their ideas and exchange them with each other.

A year ago, Faurecia successfully established an employee network around the topic of climate protection with the so-called "CO₂ Neutral Pioneer Community". More than 100 employees from numerous countries, various departments and hierarchical levels are already active in the network. As part of the overarching FORVIA sustainability strategy, this network is now also open to HELLA employees who would like to volunteer in their free time.

The goal of the "CO₂ Neutral Pioneers Community" is to raise awareness for sustainability. The network is based, among other things, on monthly meetings where information on environmental protection, FORVIA objectives, customer requirements and current projects are presented. Through a joint topic group (Faur'Us Community), employees can discuss climate protection and initiate local activities as well as share success stories. The climate protection ambassadors are committed to greater sustainability both in their everyday working lives and in their private lives. One of the goals is to reduce the personal carbon footprint. For example, the ambassadors introduced deposit containers for food-to-go in some Faurecia cafeterias, strengthened cycling for commuters to work, and shared tips and tricks for more sustainability in their own homes.

Employees do not need to have any prior knowledge or expertise to join the network. It is also possible to participate in individual rounds only "on a trial basis".
