Efficiency and electrification
The need to increase energy efficiency has gained enormously in importance. Against this background, we provide a range of key components for energy management products. Our product portfolio includes intelligent battery sensors, voltage stabilizers and research to improve energy management in hybrid and electric drive systems. Energy savings are also a priority for other HELLA products, such as electronic power steering, the supply of heater control units and modules for pumps.
Autonomous driving
Autonomous driving is one of the most influential trends in the automotive industry. The core expertise of HELLA - lighting and electronics - play a decisive role in autonomous driving scenarios. In the last 15 years we have already produced more than 20 million radar sensors in four generations. In addition, we are developing camera software for object recognition as well as new sensors that facilitate the path from supported driving through to automated driving.
