Toyota RAV4 - Defective starting behaviour

With the above-mentioned vehicles, the engine may start poorly after a few hours of standstill.

Faulty injection valves could be a possible cause. After visually inspecting the wiring harness and plug connections, the fault memory of the engine control unit should be read out and deleted if necessary. If no further abnormalities can be detected, it is recommended that you check the manufacturer's identification on the injection valves. If the number combination 0692 is found on these, the injection valves should be replaced with a modified version (23209-39145).
