If the symptoms mentioned above occur on these vehicle models, the problem may also be related to a faulty alternator pulley. A damage locating surface may be the cause. In this case the belt pulley is to be checked for damage and renewed if necessary.
On this aspect please follow the installation instructions from the vehicle manufacturer in relation to the correct alternator belt pre-tension.
