On the above mentioned vehicles the remote control may stop working due to a prematurely discharged battery.
In case of a customer complaint the remote controls on both keys should be checked for function and range. If it is found that the battery for the remote control discharges prematurely, there is probably a printed circuit board fault in the key electronics.
To rectify this problem the faulty remote control or key should be replaced.
The remote controls have been modified by the vehicle manufacturer from chassis no.: C1049659.
